The Defence research
and development organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India,
charged with the army's study and progress, headquartered in New Delhi, India.
It was once started in 1958 through the merger of the Technical development institution
and the Directorate of Technical progress and production with the Defence
Science corporation. It's beneath the executive manage of the Ministry of
Defence, government of India.
With a community of 5
laboratories, which can be engaged in setting up defence technologies masking
various fields, like aeronautics, armaments, electronics, land combat
engineering, life sciences, substances, missiles, and naval techniques, DRDO is
India's largest and most diverse study employer. The enterprise involves around
5,000 scientists belonging to the Defence study & development carrier
(IDRS/DRDS)[5] and about 25,000 different scientific, technical and assisting
